Wave Software Hires Robert VanPamelen as Director of Law Firm Accounts

Experienced technology engineer helps clients cut e-discovery costs and complexities

ORLANDO, FL. (July 18, 2008)— Orlando-based Wave Software, an innovator in the de-duplication, regeneration and export of native electronic files, announced today that it has hired Robert VanPamelen as their director of law firm accounts. VanPamelen is responsible for managing all global law firm accounts and relationships with litigation support departments. He is also responsible for implementing litigation support and data-culling technology within law firm environments and providing education within the legal industry on native processing of electronically stored information (ESI).

When ESI compounds daily and becomes part of a discovery request or regulatory filing requirement, the legal team’s job of finding, sorting and packaging those messages for delivery to opposing counsel or the agency can quickly become overwhelming. VanPamelen will consult with clients on best practices of managing ESI along with implementing Wave Software’s flagship product, Trident, into their current workflow processes. Trident can significantly reduce data sets prior to native review and production of PST, NSF, and loose data files.

“With the recent release of Trident 5.0 software, which brings Native Review Bridge capability to the e-discovery playing field, we are experiencing demand at an unparalleled rate,” states Robert Childress, president of Wave Software. “Mr. Van Pamelen brings a wealth of sales and technical expertise to our company. He is an expert at strategically integrating software into existing software platforms and this expertise is sure to decrease costs and improve e-discovery processing for all customers.”

Prior to joining Wave Software, VanPamelen worked as an engineer and in senior management at several technology companies. His technical experience, strong sales history, and project experience led him to own and operate a successful technology company.

VanPamelen’s experience introduces a new level of support. It is a great example of Wave Software’s commitment to provide talented employees to help customers use their product and achieve the best results. His technical engineering background combined with his sales experience in the software industry is imperative.

VanPamelen received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. He will be based in Orlando.
