iCONECT and Wave Software Collaborate

Trident e-Discovery Software Automatically Exports and Maps Data into iCONECT for Review and Analysis

ORLANDO, FL.(August 28, 2008) - Wave Software, an innovator in the de-duplication, regeneration and export of native electronic data, and iCONECT® Development, LLC, a world leader in litigation support and collaboration software, jointly announced a strategic alliance that will allow Wave Software’s flagship product, Trident, to automatically export and map data into iCONECT, a “Top 10” software provider in the 2008 Socha-Gelbmann electronic discovery survey. This strategic alliance provides foreign Language PST, NSF and loose file processing and review capability of native files to create a powerful litigation review and analysis solution.

When electronically stored information (ESI) compounds daily and becomes part of a discovery request or regulatory filing requirement, the legal team’s job of finding, sorting and packaging those messages for delivery to opposing counsel or the agency can quickly become overwhelming. Trident integrates seamlessly into the law firm, corporate legal or legal service provider’s current workflow processes. Trident significantly reduces data sets prior to native review and production of PST, NSF, and loose data files. Traditionally, litigation support companies need to create load-ready files of data from processing in order for the data to get loaded up onto review platforms. With the integration of Trident and iCONECT’s nXT and eXT web-based review platforms, the process of creating load files is eliminated entirely.

“Wave Software is excited to partner with iCONECT,” said Robert Childress, President of Wave Software. “The enhancements we made to the new Version 5.0 with Native Review Bridge which automatically maps fields and loads data from Trident to iCONECT’s review platform gives legal professionals access to their data easier and much faster than ever before.”

“With the vast amount of data being processed, document databases will continue to increase in size. Firms need products that will allow their teams to review, analyze, code and have the capability to grow with their needs,” said Ian Campbell, Chief Operating Officer of iCONECT Development, LLC. “This collaboration provides a scalable solution for e-discovery review.”

With the addition of Unicode compatibility, iCONECT’s secure, web-based access to centralized document collections searches and reviews text from over 230 languages including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Punjabi, and Russian. Word Marking, an advanced search option, highlights key text, such as privileged names, terms and product references to improve document assessment speed. Native file and email review features are also powered by embedded Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL) technology.

iCONECT’s latest Unicode version will be available through iCONECT’s worldwide network of application service providers (ASPs) – the most extensive of its kind in the industry. ASPs offer hosting with iCONECT software as a key component of their overall e-discovery offering to law firms, government and corporations.
