CT Summation and Wave Software Formalize Strategic Partnership
Industry leaders continue to set the standard for e-discovery and litigation workflow efficiencies
ORLANDO, FL and SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 2, 2009) - Orlando-based Wave Software, an innovator in the de-duplication, regeneration and export of native electronic data, and San Francisco-based CT Summation, a premier provider of litigation workflow and eDiscovery solutions (EDD), jointly announced a strategic partnership that aligns their technologies to provide expedited discovery data processing and review. Through their partnership, CT Summation will offer Trident Pro software to quickly and effectively cull down the volume of collected electronically stored information (ESI) and enable an expedited cost and time-effective review. Trident Pro will seamlessly pass data into the CT Summation family of products (Discovery Cracker, iBlaze, CaseVault, and Enterprise), expediting the legal professional’s workflow.
The average set of ESI data, one gigabyte in size, results in at least 20 percent of collected content being duplicates. Lawyers and their corporate clients do not want to waste time and money on reviewing irrelevant documents. The Trident Pro application can help legal teams reduce the amount of information for review quickly and easily. Trident Pro imports native data and provides a snapshot of the information collected. The application can then extract duplicate and near-duplicate documents. Trident Pro also allows users to cull and export only case-relevant data to the CT Summation family of litigation workflow products for processing, review, evaluation and production.
"We are excited about our partnership with CT Summation,” said Robert Childress, President of Wave Software. “With the vast amount of data being processed today, document databases will continue to increase in size. This partnership provides a seamless and efficient solution for CT Summation’s e-discovery and litigation workflow software solutions."
Trident Pro, coupled with CT Summation Discovery Cracker, will significantly reduce overall discovery processing costs. This will be achieved by quickly and accurately culling and filtering ESI with Trident Pro prior to processing with Discovery Cracker. Eliminating duplicate and near-duplicate documents adds accuracy and acceleration to the processing of evidence, ultimately saving the legal professional time and expense.
"Trident Pro fits naturally into our Litigation Workflow Management solution," said Tom Rump, Vice President of Litigation Solutions for Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services. "It allows our clients to precisely filter and cull electronically stored information and ultimately find key evidence and respond accurately and cost effectively. We understand that legal teams constantly fight deadlines and we continue to develop partnerships, now including Wave Software, to offer the best and most efficient workflow solutions for our clients."
